Youth in ministering to the body of Christ!

   Posted by: ada1   in Uncategorized

A young church with young people is a blessing to God and to His people.

Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the godly!  Let Israel be glad in his Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King!  Let them praise his name with dancing,  making melody to him with tambourine and lyre! For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation.   Let the godly exult in glory; [Psalm 149:1-5]

Church growth and children

   Posted by: ada1   in Uncategorized

As our new church grows so does the involvement of our young children in Sunday School.  Here we have these two young ladies enjoying their time together at Fremont OPC!

These girls are learning more and more about Jesus in Miss Lisa’s Sunday School class where Bible stories are proclaimed, applied and sung.  What a joy to watch this class of 8 youngsters come together and delight in the Lord!

Praise the Lord for His goodness to the people of God!

The Bible: the authoritative word of God

   Posted by: ada1   in Uncategorized

Fremont OPC holds to the historic Reformation doctrine of “sola scriptura”: that the Bible alone is the authoritative word of the living God, the infallible standard of faith and practice.

We are convinced that all of life—including the church’s preaching, worship and government—must be brought into conformity with Scripture. The church must preach the Bible (not the opinions of men), worship God in the manner he has appointed in his word, and be governed by a plurality of godly elders, according to the scriptural pattern.
